That has got to be more than just a leveling job....is there a body lift of some sort? Those look more like 35's or at a minimum 33's on that pick up.

What gives?

I wanna know how these people put 824's in without a spring compressor. Getting the old ones out was simple but there was no way I could think of to get it in without compressing it. Even standing on the rotor I had 3" above the mount.

take the top bolt of the shock off and it will let it down the needed space

With the lower shock bolt out, i had my neighbor stand on the hub and pull up on the front fender a bit. This lowered it enough to properly place it.

The 844s did exactly that for me. Corners great. No body roll, but rode smoother than before the spring swap

First thing I thought was did you loosen the shock and did you lift from the frame?

I have the 844S and I'll warn you, unless your rear is sagging it will not level your truck. Also I think you have the same front suspension as me (94 reg cab long bed) and the 844S does not fit properly in the seat. It's too big. It works just fine, but every shop you go too to get the camber adjusted will laugh at you and tell you that your spring is in upside down. I'll get pictures to show you what I mean after Forest Ecology class is out.
