I've seen a few of our members with this "Mod" but I see that the Mazda/Toyota guys brag about this thing a lot. But I found something very disturbing about this upgrade... which i will post pictures of to prove my point.
Here we have the unit, as you may have one to verify, that it is indeed the Mindblower Performance Module/Chip.
When you open it up... Well I have captions here on out...
OWNED!
Imagine, anybody can fab these up, print out stickers, and make $28 per fool that buys this.
I've always been weary of eBay claims, but now... I know that they are all BS! (Especially anything from "Mindblower_Performance")

It might be just a resistor, but it's probably custom made. I put one of these on my I6 and have picked up about 250 HP. I'm also getting about 35 MPG. On top of that, if I drive it to the store and leave it running while I go in and buy lottery tickets, they're always winners.
I gave him a positive feedback rating. Works for me. Planning to put one on my bike next week.

This guy should be on the cover of FORBES. How many people you know have the gall to try to make a $20 profit on something that is a gimmick. You buy a resistor $0.05, two pieces of wire, $0.25 a plastic box $0.50, solder $0.05, Label and other misc items $0.05. Ebay fees and shipping $5.00 ( If he offers free shipping ). That means out of $26 he is spendingabout $1 on the actual product, $5 on shipping and ebay most of wich is tax deductable.
Thats 300-400% profit, not bad. Then he caters to a group of people half of whom have no idea how a modern engine works, they just want to go fast. the other half can't afford to drive because of fuel costs.
He promises to deliver what they want and waits until they buy it. Did that just sound like our current President and Congress? Then you even get those that say that it works and leave a postive feedback.
Bottom line is this, real performance cost money. Companies like Hypertech, JET, BullyDog and Granetelli spend lots of money to develope software and products that actually give you more performance and fuel economy.
Like mom says, "If it sounds to good to be true, it's probably a scam."

Who want to go into business with me?
We'll make ours with 2 resistors, that way we can say "Double the performance of Mindblower's product"... it'll add a nickle to our bottom line, but it should be worth it.
