Hello,

I bought one, but the magnet sticks out too far and bumps against the oil pump pickup from what I see.......or it could be incorrect threads, but looks to be more of a long magnet issue because it does start and screws halfway into the pan. Does anyone know of a drain plug with a wide and flat magnet on the end? I'm a magnetic drain plug kinda guy and I'm having a hard time finding something that I think should be very simple. What are your thoughts?

Stick a magnet to the oil pan.

i use the ones from http://www.magneticdrainplug.com/ in all my vehicles... you may want to check with them
