Default Lucas Stop Slip?

The new F-150 is WORLDS better than the old one. The two issues I'm having are minor.

The first is an instrument cluster issue, which i'm replacing today.

The second is minor slipping in the auto trans. When you first put it in gear, it's a bit sluggish to shift into gear and then slips a little bit as you accelerate. Once you give it some gas, it seems fine.

Would Lucas Stop Slip help at all? I was recommended it by two different mechanics.

Denis

One quart of Lucas will replace one quart of tranny fluid. So if yours is low by one quart then add the quart of Lucas. Never overfill an automatic transmission.

I put a bottle in my truck and definently noticed the difference, and now I top it off with the stop slip when it needs it. For the few bucks it costs it was great.

The company that makes "SeaFoam" also makes "Trans Tune". You add it and drive around a bit proir to ATF oil change. You won't believe all the nasty grunge it liquefies and holds in suspension for draining. It removes fluid path restrictions. If it's due for a change, thats the way to go. Remember about 1/4+ of the fluid is held inside the torque converter. If you pop off the inspection plate & rotate it around there is a drain plug to remove the rest of the old fluid. What do people think when they buy 12+ qts. for a tranny oil change & they top off still looking at 3 unopened qts.? Anyway, add the Lucas w/the new fluid. My tranny shifts very smooth but I use it to help keep it that way.
