Default low rpm vibration?

alright im having some vibration coming from under my seat, not really in the wheel. seems to be transmission maybe? but only between 25-40 mph/1200-1500 rpm.

could be motor mounts or trans mounts. Could even just be that you need a tune up. Is it only in one particular gear?

well if its only in one respective gear all the time I would think its the transmission. The rear diff is easy to check. You should have a magnetic plug that comes out with a standard 3/8 ratchet, if you pull it and theres lots of metal shavings on it then thats bad.

Could be a bad tranny mount or bad U-joints as well.....make sure you check both thoroughly. I've found the easiest way to check the tranny mount is to put a jack under the tranny and jack it up just a little bit then check the rubber and make sure it's decent.
