Default Straight 6 will idle up then back to normal?

ok i've got a 95 f 150 with a straight 6 and last night i was listening to it run and it will idle normally but about every 30 seconds or so it idles up and then back down? im not sure if this is a problem it isnt cold here now but my dads dodge cummins was doin the same thing a while back and it needed a new fuel filter? could this be my problem or am i worryin about nothin? any help is appreciated thanks

you might want to pull your IAC and see if its gummed up. Just clean it out and bolt it back on.

I just did this on my 02, although ford vehicles seem to have this problem alot. Most of my past mustangs I have had to clean them. It takes 10 min or less to do. Really easy.

Was wondering if the AC cycling was causing the speed changes?
