Default Location of Fuel Pressure Regulator

Simple question - where is the Fuel Pressure Regulator on an 88 F-150 4.9? I've tried searching and most people say on the fuel rail under the intake manifold, but correct me if I'm wrong, with throttle body fuel injection, I don't have a fuel rail...So that location must be on newer F-150s.

Thanks!

It should be in the fuel line near the front of the motor ( If I remember correctly) Should be a tuna can sized device with the fuel lines to it.

Its multi port fuel injection not throttle body injection. You will have a fuel rail on the passenger side of the engine and the regulator is under the intake manifold.

I just figured it was throttle body injection due to the age of the car. Alright, I'll take a closer look under the manifold. Thoughts in if you need to remove the manifold to get to it, or is really possible to get to it without taking it off?
