Default leveling kit pros and cons

i am planning on getting a 2" front leveling kit on my 1995 4x4 ext cab short bed 5.0. what are the pros and cons of a leveling kit? any performance help or hurt? could anybody show me some pics of before and after leveling kits to get an idea of how much it'll raise it? thanks.

Just installed a 2.5 inch kit yesterday, ended up getting 3 inches from it. Probably should have gone with the 2 inch because I need the biggest camber adjustment bushings I can find. Anyways, there's no real cons, just a little more wind resistance and I can say with 90% certainty you're going to need new camber bushings afterwards to get it to align back to spec. Here's my before and after on my '91 2wd

mustang your truck looks great with the level and 31s, I'm not too positive on this but wouldn't they possibly limit how much you can haul/tow because your rake is eliminated? I guess maybe your front end would just sit up higher than the back rather than being level. I have no experience with the leveling so anyone else that could chime in would be great.

It may... but I don't tow anything, my hitch is 99% for getting pulled out of mud haha. I'll find out next time I load up the bed. If it does cause any issues, I just might have to add bigger blocks in the back. Oh the horror!!

I recently put the leveling kit on. Took me 4 hours cuz it took me a while to figure out what I was doin lol. But I got it on and it looks great except it's got the top of the front tires leaning out if you can picture that. Will a front end alignment fix this or will I have to buy new "camber bushings"?

Got a 2" front leveling kit off of ebay for 60 bucks. Got em on there now for 56 including shipping. If you dont know what your doing and aren't using a lift (you need at least 3 jacks if not) you need to set out about 3-4 hours. Very happy with it. I'll post pics later.

An alignment will cure that, but if they are too far out you'll need new bushings. I'm gonna be posting up a how to later today that'll tell you everything you need to know. I ended up with +/-2deg bushings, and the camber still isn't perfect, but it's in spec so I can't really complain, just going to have to be religious about tire rotations.

$55 for the 2.5inch kit shipped to my door
$105 for install (rusty underbody, couldn't get the bolts moving )
$105 for alignment at Tire Kingdom. Come with 6 month/6k mile warranty, so you get free alignments anytime during that timeframe. Already used it 3 times, well worth it.
$35 on bushings I put in myself.

So $300.

So far I've got $60 in it lol. Goin to get the alignment 2moro mournin that on the phone said would be $45 but not sure if I have to buy bushings yet or not. Installing things yourself is MUCH cheaper.. Just can be time consuming.
