Hello everyone! I am new to this whole thing so you have got to give me some leeway. I am 18 years old and just recently purchased a 1996 f150, 5 speed manual, 4x4, it's a 4.9L (inline 6) with only 144,xxx miles. It is my daily driver. I just bought brand new goodyear wrangler authority's (31/10.5/15) and dumped $1100 into it 2 weeks ago due to getting a new y pipe and new cats (was rusted bad and snapped off) Very clean truck though, only rust is a little bubble on the wheel well, and there is a little hole in the driver side cab corner. Also, if you are looking from the rear, the drivers side of the bed sags a little bit, not bad but it's noticeable, someone told me it could be a leaf spring??? So, the big question is, what should I do? Should I keep the truck? Should I dump more money into it? Tune it up a little bit? Intake? Exhaust? Or should I get rid of it and look for something else? Any thoughts help! Thanks!

Welcome! First off you have a nice truck , with proper maintenance you're drivetrain should last a long time. And the body looks pretty clean so I would defiantly keep it. The sag is most likely a leaf spring hanger. They are notorious for rusting out on these trucks. Its a relitavly easy fix if you have basic tools. And shouldn't be too expensive to get fixed by a mechanic, as the part is about $30. Get under the truck and look at the front and rear hangers, you should be able to tell of they are bad or not. Mine has holes in them and were still functioning.

Nice truck ! I'd get rid of the blacked out taillights personally - they don't light up good, but mostly they don't reflect, so somebody might pile into it when it's parked.
But she looks like a keeper, it should last a long, long time.
