Just a heads up 4.9L owners - AIR PUMP DELETE BELT #
Hello All,
This is just in case any of you 4.9L owners out there decide to delete your AIR PUMP, the drive belt you will need is part # 25-060806 - Napa belt.. this is if you have AC.. but delete the air pump..
May save you a couple trips to the parts store..

Whats the length of your Belt??
I Took a quick glance at it after I got it on & it looked like it was free from everything.. Ill take a look again tomoorrow just to make sure...It looks like I ran it the same way you did from the pic..
The belt length I used is 80-1/8" long - from napa part # 25-060806

The length is in the part number, 800 is what they told me. K6 is the width. I don't remember what they said but it must be 80.0 inches then. If yours looks like mine then it is ran in the non a/c direction. The compressor doesn't get much contact area ran that way and I was wondering if the compressor would slip. But if you run it the a/c direction then the belt comes across I think the alternator bolt. From the alternator down to the crank instead of to the water pump like it is in the picture.

just to let you guys know they make a smog pump delete pulley to use a standard belt. they run about 30 bucks
and they make an a/c delete pulley too.
that pic above with the 180 wrap on the alt pulley is not good for it at all. that puts alot of stress on the alt. and your not going to gain anything from bypassing it. you really want to free up the engine do an e-fan upgrade

It's a good mod to do if you want to get rid of all your emissions. I did the ac and smog delete with the 800k6 belt. The engine idles a little smoother for me, and I might gain a little but the engine compartment is a lot tidier. The main benefit is ridding all the emissions. If you do this, you might as well do away with your egr and cat's too.
