Default Its lifted! 87 f150 with 6" rough country lift

Well I ended up finding a hell of a deal on a full Rough Country lift. Guy I purchased it from claimed it was a 4" kit with add a leafs for the rear. Well the more I installed and lined up the more it looked larger than a 4" kit. So after talking to Rough Country we've determined it was a 6" kit not a 4"

Install took 5 days, which was around 10 hrs labor and 20 hrs looking for tools and and other BS that always comes up when doing a project. All in all I'd say it wasn't to bad for a amateur like myself. First full suspension I've ever done. I'm not 100% complete yet since I didn't have the right front brake lines, and have to add the front steering stabilizer. But here are some before and after pics. Trucks not much to look at so please be nice. lol

Just got the kit home!

They are 32x11.5x15. I ended up getting a hell of a deal on these tires and rims, thus the reason I went with 32's instead of a bigger tire. I will someday upgrade to 35 or 37's but I need to get a little wear on the one's I have first, and they only have about 100 miles on them. Quite honestly I want planning on lifting the truck as soon as I did, but I found a once in a lifetime opportunity and had to jump on it.

I found a local guy who was selling it. I guess he ordered it for a customer and was about 1100 shipped. I ended up having him drive 250 miles and paid him 500 for everything brand new.
