Interchangeability of 8th and 9th gen parts
How interchangeable are the parts between 8th and 9th gen f-150. The three trucks are a 1990 Ford F150 with the straight 6, 1991 Ford F150 with the straight 6, and a 1994 F-150 with the small block V8. Thanks a lot

No Pain, No Pain!
Welcome to the board.
Many of the parts will fit, with some exceptions. The overall bodystyle of the trucks are the same, the doors, for example, will all fit from 1980 to 1996. Some differences would be the grills/headlights are different as the front clips were redesigned. You can get a catolog from lmctruck.com that is specifically for 1980-1996 trucks, including the F250/F350 and Bronco. They list what years go with which parts, so you could see for yourself which parts will work across all 3 trucks.
Good luck!

Wiring
Did you ever get the wiring in the doors to work?
If so, how did you do it?
I have an '89 F-150 w/ doors off of a '96 F-350. Great fit. I brought the cross over cable from the F-350. So 2 of the 4 plugs are handled. IDK where to go from here.
Hoping you have some words of advice.
Thanks,
Ben
