Those are the colors/functions of the wires in the truck, you just use that as a guide to install the corresponding wire from your system.
e.g.
It says that the brake wire on your system is Purple, the diagram shows that the brake wire on the truck is light green.
You will just match up the info from yours and the info from the truck, it helps to write it all down on paper and use that as a guide during installation, that's what I did-along with the general location of each truck wire (like @headlight switch, or [MENTION=118676]ignition[/MENTION] switch harness).
One thing I noticed is that your instructions list the starting and some other functions as (-) while our truck uses (+) starting, you may want to call the remote manufactures help line to verify how to proceed if that is the case, I may have also been reading it wrong.
