Default If you had to replace your orig motor, What motor would it be?

I have a 94 Blue F150 and it has 275k miles on it. The oil pressure is getting low and its loosing power.

Would you rebuild the motor? Its the basic package the 94 F150s came with. Straight six with auto transmission.

Or, if you could replace the motor, What motor would it be?

For example, is there an awesome fuel efficient motor I can buy and put into the truck?

Im thinking of another new motor. Not sure how to proceed with this?

Any tips, advice would be much appreciated!

When I did mine, it was a stock 302 that ran on 7 cylinders. Completely rebuilt the engine and did some upgrades along the way.

If I had to do it again and I had ~10k. 5.0 Coyote with a 6 speed auto from the 2011+ Mustang.

Mine wont go for awhile (300 with 115,000 on it) But I would toss in a supercharged 5.0 or a 351w bored and built to about 375 horse or so with the ZF trans
