I took my cats out a couple months ago and my truck has 2 1/4" straight pipe with a 7" tip that is made from the stock muffler, I think that it sounds and looks b.a.

Did you leave your muffler in, or take that out as well?

Hello everybody Thanks for the replies!
I made a straight pipe in place of it. A CC gives to much backpressure. Okay I'm riding on LPG injection, but on gas, she runs better, smoother and.... a lot more power. A truck, filled up with all kinds of sensors, react very sensitive when the mixture is to rich or to lean. A CC makes the mix to rich for a couple of seconds during fast acceleration and seems to respond with fuel starvation. A stutter is the result. Every year we do have to check up the cars and trucks and then I have to appear with the CC on board. Therefore I've made a Y section from Stainless and the straight pipe as well.

best regards Ton
