I lost my clutch pedal to the floor the other day, first thought was to check the fluid it was gone. So I started checking for anything that was wet to find where it went, the tranny was wet so I figured it was the Slave Cyl. I went and bought a new slave and clutch disk, since I had to remove the tranny anyway. when I got the truck up on jack stands and went to remove the hydraulic line, I noticed the connection was all wet. So had my father come help me bleed the system so I could see what was leaking. There it was the fluid was coming out of the nylon piece of the hydraulic line at the slave cyl. Well I will take the slave and disk back to the store to get that money back, but nobody had a line so I ordered it online.

OK, now that I have filled you in on all that I have done, the line came today so I went out to replace it. I can get it off the slave but I am kind of lost with the master. I can see that there is a pin to hold the line and o-ring in the master, but how do you remove the old pin?? I cant get to the drivers side of it because some brilliant engineer put the power brake booster in the way of that side of the clutch master cyl.

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

You have to push out the pin. I usually use a finish nail and hammer. You might have to pull the master to make it easier.

Just call me Sean thanks for the reply, can I push the pin out to the drivers side?? or do I have to push it back out to the passenger side?? I just didnt want to start doing this the wrong way because it is all plastic and I am not wanting to have to replace the master because I broke it. thanks

You can push it out either side. If there's enough sticking out to grab with pliers you can pull it out. The master cylinder body is pretty strong for plastic.

Go to Wal Marts and go to the bicycle section. Buy a bicycle chain breaker for like 6 bucks. Break off the chain holders (should be 2) so that you have a smooth surface. The pin is the perfect size. Press it right thru then you have plenty left to pull the remainder off with pliers.
Simple.

X2 on their ideas, just dont lose the pin or the o-ring. i made the mistake of losing the o-ring, LUcky me i have parts trucks. its not a normal round o-ring.
