how to test the starter solenoid?
How do i test the starter solenoid to make sure its working?
Multimeter on the + from the solenoid to the starter, the other end to ground and turn the key?

1. turn the key on and 2 use a screw driver to jump the + and - sides.. if it starts your solenoid works....
Atleast thats the redneck way lol.. im sure someone else might be able to help you with voltage readings and stuff

We'd do it

Pull the start wire from the solenoid, it's the small one. Jump the battery side of the solenoid to the start terminal. If it cranks the solenoid is good.

Actually there is a ground, it goes through the bracket to the body, and one way to test is use multimeter between small post and the bracket, if it doesnt work make sure bolts are tight to the body.
