Can you clean an EGR valve? I got a 32 trouble code. I also got a 67 but it seems that is kind of normal if the clutch is not pushed in. I have a 1989 f150 300engine 4x4 with 5 speed. I get an intermittent flashing engine light. I also have the tester pictured in an earlier post and it has worked fine for me. However I got a 76, 32, and a 10. What is a ten. And can you fix the 32 code by cleaning the EGR or is the problem my exhaust system? I hope I posted this correctly, it is my first try.

Default 92 f150 codes

I have been having a lot of issues with my 92 F150, won't go into them here as that is for another thread. But, thanks to this thread i was able to pull the codes (all 6 of them) and have figured out in general what most of them mean however if anyone can point me in the direction of what code 98 means i would be thrilled. I found one site that states 3 different 98 codes, none of them make any sense to me, another site that made it seem like one of them was for the E4OD, mine is a manual so it seemed like "Hard Fault Error" or something along those lines was the code. I have no idea what this means, or where to begin looking.
Thanks for all the help!

Ymeski can explain the 98 better. I can't remember how he explained it but it made a lot of sense to me.

Great thread on a great site, really glad i found you guys here. Thanks again for the help, have considered selling the truck due to the issues, but what am i going to replace it with a Chevy? that, its going to be an F-series so i might as well just fix the one i got and maybe a MAF swap down the road!

Transmission codes will come up too. Go ahead and read the codes and post the results in your thread.
