I haven't read through this thread in a while but the sequence for my truck with two digit codes with engine off is, it shows the codes, repeats them, then sends a single blink which is the "10" seperator that signals the continuous memory codes are coming, then it shows continuous codes and repeats. So when all is well (all 11's) it is blink, pause, blink, wait, blink, pause, blink, longer wait, blink, longer wait, blink, pause, blink, wait, blink, pause, blink.

OK guys no one seems to have this problem but me.... I have a 1989 F-150 inline 6 manual transmission with the check engine light on.
Under the hood i found the STO but there is no STI to be found! Ive looked all around the engine bay, but i promise its not there. I even cut the tape around the wiring harness to see if maybe someone cut it but its not there.
Heres what i got...
Thanks for the help!

I just had to be sure. I still don't see it in the first picture. The computer is fine, close enough to work. The wire you are looking for is white/red and if you haven't found it further down the harness then find it at the computer plug at the firewall and trace it back.

Be careful, that same shaped connector was used on other systems. Sean is up to date with the color coding, if colors are the same, the single loose STI is there someplace.

I ensure you there is no single loose wire anywhere in the harness from the PCM to the connector. I agree with you tho, i think this connector is from a different system. Since color coding can change slightly with different years, does any one know the actual pin on the PCM that is the STI? thanks
