no your not! LOL i did not know i needed to have my truck running i thought i needed a vacuum Gage or something... so do i just remove the sensor crank the engine and see if it moves? or what. i have been trying to find out step by step instructions but no luck so far... now i see why people just put a plate in and call it good

We'd do it

Having the vacuum thing is better, but since I never felt like buying one I either use engine vacuum or I suck on the hose. It's been a while though so I don't recall how well sucking on the hose worked.
You should be able to see it move from the underside through the holes.
