how can I convert from 15 to 16 inch rims?
I have a stock 1996 F150 4x4 with 15 inch rims. I want to convert to 16 inch rims, because the off road tire selection is so much better. How can I do that? Thank you. Cam

Just find a set of wheels that are 16", 5x 5.5 bolt pattern, proper offset. Check out discount tire.com they have tons of wheels and they'll show you how they look on your truck.. Or is it tire rack? Either way. Then find tires you like.

It's a Canadian thing eh!
I see more tire options in 15" for off road applications. But you could always find wheel lug adapters to convert bolt pasterns and fit post 97 ford 16" rims.

Thanks everyone for the feedback and suggestions. I'll do some more research to see if I can find the kind of tires I'm looking for on 15 inch rims. Nice to know it's not a big deal to change to 16 inch rims if I decide to go that route.

not a big deal at all. i just switched to 16's so i could run a heavier rated tire. for towing or hauling. i had some 15'' MTs that just squat so bad under load. i found an awesome deal on wheels and tires and went with those. i dig em. but be sure you get the correct back spacing like everyone else said too
