i replaced the master cylinder and the hydraulic line on my clutch on my 95 ford f150 i keep pumping and releasing the bleeder but i cant get a steedy flow and no pressure behind the pettle what am i doind wrong

use 2 people.....

close the bleeder...
open the bleeder and put your finger over the end...as the other person pushes the clutch peddle down lift your finger slightly off the bleeder to let the air out...

when they hit bottom push your finger over the hole as they release the clutch and repeat... finger off as the clutch is being pushed in and finger on when released...

finger over the hole helps it from streaming fluid everywhere and a slight pressure on the bleeder with your finger forces the air out... once you get all fluid tighten the bleeder while the clutch is on the bottom and then release... pump up and go... takes me less than 2 minutes to bleed one

i have done that but the peddle still stays on the floor and only a little bit of fluid will come out no bubbles

You don't bleed it like brakes. Don't open the bleeder, just pump the pedal. Sometimes it takes a while.

Just keep pumping, you can gravity bleed it by letting the fluid flow down till it comes out. Close the bleeder and just don't stop pumping. Over time the air will self bleed and the pedal will feel like normal.

i just pumped it for quite awhile and i only get a quarter of the peddle to come back and evey time i push the peddle down i can hear what sounds like the slave cylinder. i didnt see any leaks ,could it be a bad master cylinder?i just replaced it but could it still be a bad one?
