Took me about 30 minutes of pulling with various tools (and a trip to hardware store for angled needle nose) before I said F it and took the plastic piece off. I had always heard people complaining about the headlight clip but didn't really know their struggle until doing it myself, probably the stupidest part ever thought up (well besides the plastic/metal radiator).

Love those headlights. Those are similar to the ones I want to run on our 92 F250.

Default Annoying *** clips

I recently put halo projectors in on my truck. And I basically had to break the old headlights to get them off. And as far as the clips go, I bent the hell out of them and they finally came off. Broke the tab off one. Lmao. A little destructive but it seemed like the only option but it worked!

When I replaced mine I put long nose pliers in those holes and stretched them open.

Mine wasn't to bad on my 92 F250. Hopefully when I put the black grille and headlight parts off the parts truck it won't be that hard also.
It was a little confusing at first getting them off though being I have removed tons of 87-91 headlights but no 92-96 headlights.
