Default hesitation from a stop

92 f150, 302 V-8, auto trans., E4OD

when accelerating from a stop, truck "hesitates" then goes.
Very Annoying!!
Discovered it only does this when I move the vacuum selector valve(VSV) on temp controller to any position except "OFF" (A/C, defrost , vent, floor, etc.)
Suspect vacuum leak(?), but not sure where to start. Maybe swap out VSV?
Any ideas...?

any solution to this? I've got the same problem and have tried fuel pumps, fuel injectors, fuel pressure, tb gasket, tps, plugs, wires, fuel pressure regulator...

You might want to look at your vacuum resevoir or the vacuum check valve for possible leaks. When they get real bad, you will notice your air conditioning will shift on its own to the defrost vents when you accellerate. Older ones look like a large can and the newer ones are plastic resembling a ball. Hang a vacuum gauge off the manifold and make sure you have a steady 18-22 inches.
