Default Here's my build in progress pics. The beater truck is growing

This is my 93 F150 XL. I drug it out of a field for $250.00 dollars with the intentions of fixing it up and making my daily driver. It runs perfect and the a/c blows cold. Mechanically it is very sound, however it is cosmetically challenged .
The best part is the truck is virtually rust free!

The parts list so far is as follows
Truck $250.00
3 inch body lift $40.00 craigslist
35X12.50X15 Swampers and wheels $550.00 craigslist
Used F150 parts truck $600.00
Sold parts truck after I stripped it for $-500.00
I took all the XLT stuff off it. Doors, fenders, grill, headlights, bumpers ect...
Used stereo $40.00 craigslist
Used F250 springs $25.00 U-pull it
Used 4 core radiator and Trans cooler $55.00U-pull it
Misc oils, rust buster, etc..... 82.00
So far I have spent $1142.00
Next up is paint

I started putting on the body lift and finished the suspension stuff. I am changing everything over to make it as close to an XLT as possible. Power, locks, chrome grill, bumpers ect.....
Its been a long day!
Tomorrow I will finish the body stuff and put on the new wheel just so I can see whats its gonna look like.

Now I need to pick a color....What color do you guys think I should go with??

I've thought about Dark Blue seemings how I'm part way there lol. I was just thinking about a different color to be different.

BTW. If anybody is close to Omaha and wants the XL doors they can have em for free. They are almost perfect and I hate to toss em out.

Dark blue or a deep yellow with a lot of clear. Lots of work going on. Wish I could buy a xlt. I want power windows, locks and cruse.

I really like the yellow idea! The only problem is I have a Blue interior . I've never seen a yellow 92-96 F150 either.
