Default After Market Fuel Pump

Anyone have any problems with fuel pumps. I replaced mine about a 2 months ago and it lasted until about 2 weeks ago. Returned it for another one and It is now acting up. Both pumps were Spectra Brand. I am going to order one from Motorcraft tomorrow, I know it is more money but I am getting tired of dropping the tank to change pumps

Bosch or Walbro is Ford's OE supplier. Spectra & Airtex = JUNK!

What did it do? Just stopped working or slowly fade away? I just put two Spectra's in and got my truck running about two/three weeks ago. I'm getting 171 and 174 codes now.

The First one just quick and the second one is not putting out enough pressure

You would not be the first one to go through several cheaper pumps. Sometimes you get lucky with those and if you're only planning to keep driving your truck for a few months, cheaper makes sense.
There's a reason though why the other ones cost twice as much. The original Ford pumps in my truck - and a lot of other people's are still working fine after 21 years.
So if you plan to keep the truck for a long time, the extra money for Walbro or Bosch (as nrivera said) makes sense.
