That plug is for the daytime running lights module. I would assume your truck doesn't have daytime running lights because of the jumper plug that is plugged into it.

Ok thanks Ill just leave it in the harness then.

I have another connector that needs identifying but I do not have pics yet
its a 4 prong round connector one wire, wire colorcode is red/yellow
It sat near the heater box ran around and is connected to the engine
harness.
Ill get a better pin out tomorrow with a pic.

Get a picture of the connector and where it runs. I don't have every single wire in my diagrams but I may be able to identify it.

Ok Sean I traced the circuit It appears to be the A/C circuit traced that wire to another connector in the engine harness and it goes to a round connector
attached to the back of the compressor.

My Haynes manual wiring diagrams seem to be very vague when it comes to this circuit would you happen to have an in depth diagram so I can rebuild it
and implement it into my new harness?

It seems we are both working off the same diagrams, I'm using Haynes too. But I'm also going by my truck, but mine's an '87. I was first thinking a/c circuit because my truck has a round 4 pin connector but with 2 wires into it and also in the same location. It's probably the same so maybe the newer models did away with one wire.

Ok ill cut the engine harness open and isolate the A/C circuits from the rest
hope I can find replacement pins considering I have the plug already.
