Drain coolant or pinch off the hoses to the core, (engine compartment), passenger side, two hoses at firewall. Installations vary, some had the heater core removable in the engine bay, others inside the vehicle and have to reomove the plenum chamber for access. The early 80's mustangs were the worst, entire instrument panel, door to door removed and lowered to floor to get plenum chamber up and over the panel for removal of the core.

You might have to dig deep to get to that. I'd recommend spending the $20 for a Chilton's manual to make sure you're on the right track.

I put a heater core in my 90 Bronco (also a 5.8L) and a 91 mustang in the past. They are definitely not fun... I'm not sure how different the 95 is from what I dealt with, but the truck was definitely the easier of the two. Either way, without the manual, I wouldn't have even thought about trying it.

The book says to remove the glove box door and you will have access to the heater core cover.
