Default Header paint?

I am going to buy some long tube headers uncoated or possible coated...does vht paint hold up yes or no?

I bought some high heat paint that said "flameproof", don't remember the brand, for my exhaust manifolds. Been 3 weeks now, it still looks good and they've been pretty hot. We'll see how it holds up long term.

Same for mine. Painted them and they looked good for a little bit and then it started burning off. I am going to have them sandblasted and powder coated

Duplicolor and VHT both make a header paint rated for 1200 degrees and up. Either of them will work.
