this is not a big worry because there is a big market for them because they get clogged with carbon, quit working and the most logical fix for a shop is to just replace them. I trust you are talking about the EGR tube from the manifold to the EGR valve. A new one will cost you about $50.
You don't want to run without the EGR because your truck just won't run very well.

That is not your EGR tube. Its your secondary air system. If you are in a smog check area you must replace it. It injects air into the cat to help burn waste. It also helps catalyse NOx and preheat your cat. If you keep your cats you should keep it. Removing it will increase emissions and may shorten the life of the cats. LMC carries them. BTW even in no smog check areas its illegal to remove smog equipment, its just not likely anyone will catch it. You can still run the pump with dual exhaust, just have your installer split the tube. If you do duals make sure you add a crossover and install the O2 sensor properly or you will lose performance mpg and parts life. Oh last note, a few 95 models had OBDII and a post cat sensor. If you have this you must replace the secondary air or you will have issues.
