gas gauge not working for front tank only

I just bought a really nice,clean 95' F150.It has dual tanks.The gauge works when flipped to the rear tank,but does not work when flipped to the front tank.Any suggestions?

Welcome to the board.

Not to sound stupid, but are you sure there is gas in the front tank?

Change the fuel level sending unit. Common problem.
