An FYI - Ground wire, fuel pump and tail lights
I tear a lot of 9th generation trucks down and I've noticed something, so this time I did a test to be sure. Just for general information.
When you disconnect the 2 ground wires on the rad saddle right in front of the washer bottle, you lose your fuel pump and your tail lights. Maybe other things, but those 2 for sure. Hook it back up, fuel pump and tail lights come back (the front lights are already removed, so who knows about them.
There's another one on the fender by the battery and you lose a whole lot of things - but the one on the rad saddle is a good one to check if you have issues with the fuel pump or tail lights.
Just something to keep in mind - for whenever...just in case.

I thought I had noticed that about that ground on other trucks I was tearing apart so this time I thought I'd test the theory before I got too far into the teardown. Might be a useful thing to remember if someone runs into no fuel pump or no taillights.
Here's the latest one I'm ripping down; 95 XLT with a 5.8 E4OD and a 3:55 posi. Was surprised to see the driver's bucket was 6 way power - don't see that very often on the old girls.

I think I'll clean that ground now . I've cleaned 1/4 of the truck's grounds but have just been lazy lol.
