I was attempting to replace my fuel tank on my 93 f150 when I broke what I believe is the 2 port vent valve. Can anyone verify that is the correct name for it as I'm having a hard tome finding a replacement. It's it fits onto the third hole on the fuel tank next to the fuel pump and where the inlet hose connects.

If you look under category: Emission Control

Sub category: Evaporative System

There looks to be a 2 port fuel vapor valve listed along with a schematic showing where the part goes on the fuel tank. It might be what what you're looking for.

Thanks, diagram showed exactly what I needed to see pn was 9b227. Still having a hard time finding it may be a ford provided part or may have to visit the junk yard.

I broke the same part when I replaced my fuel tank. Yes it is a Dealer item, and It runs like $45.

Find a junkyard that u can pull ur own parts, and borrow one from there.

Yup when i bought my new tank at napa the counter guy told us to be careful because when he did his tank he broke it and could only get it from the dealer. Luckly dad didnt break his but we have 2 on hand so wouldnt matter. I dont understand why you can only get it from ford its just a small simple part

Being I could not find one local at a junk yard I repaired mine with a little epoxy. Not the preferred method but it seems to work.
