Default fuel tank ground on an 1988 f150

ok so I am trying to find where the ground is located on my front tank. The problem is the fuel guage on the front tank is reading full (it's not) so I am looking for the ground for the fuel tank ? my rear tank when switched is working fine mind you I just got this truck running after it sat for 2 years does anyone know where the ground for the tank would be? for the fuel guage system I think I am trying to find the right thing but not positive on it anyone set me straight on this I know the guage works on a resistive type system and if the guage was screwed it would do the same on the rear tank right? the truck has a 5.0 in it if that helps neither my hanyes manuals say anything on it

anyone have a fix for this yet, I am in the same situation, I just got the truck running after sitting for a year almost and my gauges stay at full when I just drove 60 miles and it has not moved. I have a 1988 F150, and its the duel tanker and I think its the 5.8 v8

One in each tank, so you would have to drop the tanks.
