4" Lift

April 2010 TOTM Winner
RANCHO 4" Suspension Lift
My 1987 F-150 4x4 has the
Rancho 4" Suspension lift with the long radius arms.
Rancho Dual front shocks
Rancho Dual steering stabilizers
Duane W. from Arkansas installed the Rancho lift kit during a body-off frame restoration in 2000. (Price: $1800.00 for the kit delivered to his shop, it was his truck then)
The truck steers and tracks straight, the front tires do not lean out at the top as some
Independent Front Suspension (IFS) will after being lifted.
There are other suspension lift kits available for your truck:
SKYJACKER
TUFF COUNTRY
ROUGH COUNTRY
Hope this helps!

I did a six inch rough country lift, it was 600, with brake lines and steering stabilizer, I really like it. Lifts are alot cheaper if you do it yourself. If you have it installed the price goes way up, and its nowhere near as fun.

removing the old brackets was the hardest part, but a couple days, and a couple friends it went pretty smooth, havent been off road yet, but I know a bunch of people with rough country lifts with no issues off road
