My check engine light has been coming on more and more lately. It comes on and then goes out. I have noticed that when it comes on I usually am slightly accelerating. Almost every time, when I let off on the accelerator, a few seconds later the light goes out. I accelerate again and back on. deaccelerate, off it goes. Sounds like something reacting to vaccum. Its a real pattern. I got an egr code and was told it sounded like an egr problem and if the diaphram was good they can be cleaned. Is this true? The part is over $100.00.
