Front tires are wearing bad! Should I bring the front of the truck up?

They put a redneck lowering kit
They took a torch and heated the coil springs to lower it
Now you will need new springs and an alignment

ya new springs for sure! you can go with a leveling spring from some of the popular suspension companys or you can buy replacement stock hight spring. or do what i did...my tires leaned bad because my stock coils were sagged bad! so i went to my local auto wreckers and got a set of coils from a 93 f250 2wd.(but any 80-97 f250 2wd coil will work)and put them in. i got 2 3/4 inches of lift in the front and my tires sit strait now! the truck handels and drives way better! o and fyi you dont need a coil spring compressor! with the top coil clip bolt removed and the big nut in the center of coil taken off as long as the truck is up on jack stands suported on the frame the axle will droop down and the coil just pulls out. then put the new coil in and put a small jack under the axle(on the side your working on)and lift it up a little put the nut back on and clip and bolt back on the bolt your shock back to the bottom of the axle.im guessing he told you to use a coil compressor because he didnt unbolt the shock from the bottom of the axle to let it droop enough to pull the coil! lol hope this helps!

The reason he is saying f250 springs is that they will add a little extra lift kinda like putting a leveling kit up front. only draw back is I would guess the ride from the f250 springs will be a little bit stiffer.

They're saying they have F250 springs as a leveling spring instead of getting the actual lift springs that are sold in leveling kits. The 2WD F250 springs of the same generation truck will bolt right in once the old springs are removed.
