Sense I got the truck I figured it had been lowered.at least in the front. But never paid it too much attention because it looked cool. Well about a year later I'm noticing more and more how my front tires lean in at the top and my tires are pretty worn. I just measured and the middle of my rear finder sits at 31.75" and the middle of my front is at 29.25". What would lift the front of the truck up and straighten up my tires? A suspension lift or body lift? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm relatively new to these.

A body lift doesnt't change the suspension and a suspension lift won't fix the problem you can eitther go get a front end alignment and the problem will be solved or you can put a lift on the front and still will need the alignment.
I would go get an alignment they are relatively cheap around hewre they are about $75

Had a problem with the tires wearing on the inner edges. Got to looking - the front end was definitely lower than I thought it should be for a 4WD.

Being relatively cheap at the time - looked into spring spacers. By the time I added the spacers I thought would be needed to bring things back up - it was less expensive just to replace the front coils, plus didn't sacrifice any suspension travel.

Pretty easy DIY job - lift the front end up, letting the suspension drop, unbolt the single spring clip, and work the old spring out and the new spring in.

IIRC, got a spring compressor from the local auto parts shop. Free, although a fully-refundable deposit was required. Just be careful and appreciate the energy that the spring has when compressed - don't become a 'stupid people trick'. :-)

Took it to an alignment shop afterward to get things trued up - from where it was, it handled curves like it was on rails after.

How do the springs look when your truck is sitting on all 4's? My front springs sit kinda cockeyed. Its hard to explain. A friend suggested the old owner (or whoever lowered it) may have heated the springs? Dose this make any sense?

Springs sit straight and true.

Not familiar with the 'tricks' of lowering, but if heating the springs or bending the I-beams were involved - rut-roh.

My experience has been with the raising of a 2WD - put a 4-inch doughnut spacer between the spring and I-Beam. Alignment shop had to bend the I-Beam to get things back in square.

Of course, this meant I couldn't go back to stock height without some problems - such as the spring cradles not being parallel - which may lead to an observed spring-bulging issue.

****! Well hopefully getting new springs well help because mine are sitting fast from straight up! I'll have to get under it tomorrow with my camera and show y'all.

I personally got the f250 4x4 HD springs from advance auto parts and my front sits at 33.5 inches and rear around or over 35. I didn't touch the rear though, stock leaf springs back there.

I changed my mind. Its slow as crap up here at work so I took some pictures rite now. The first is a shot of the spring from the top of the tire. The second is the front of the spring and the third is how the tire is sitting

I would definitely look for a new set of springs, those are pretty screwed up.
