Default Front bumper damage

Hey there, new to the site, looking for a little help. The other day a car backed up into my f150, its lifted so it only contacted my bumper, and it pushed the front up so sides of it sit lower and have an exposed gap. It also has impaired my turn radius as well, its a steel bumper, how might I go about repairing this? Would I just go ahead and heat the brackets and bend it back or what?

Loosen your bumper mount bracket bolts, and see if you can get it back in position.Usually there's enough "slop" in the bolt holes to allow for adjustments.

its designed to allow the bumper to bend like that during impact. Old rusty is right, if you loosen the mounting bolt on both sides you should be able to put it back in place with no problems.

had almost this exact problem, and did what oldrusty said. Loosen the bolts and repaired it that way. also i did an aluminum bumper this way, but i put to floor jacks on either side and lifed it, bent it right into place. i however figured this was some kinda coincidence, and i wouldnt really recommend it.
