Default Ford 4X4 Build thread! aka Bruiser

I figured I would do a build thread for my 95 since it has come a long ways from when I bought it. I dont have a pic of when I first got it unfortunately, but I paid 3100 for it a 3 and a half years ago with 100,500 miles on it. It has the INLINE 6 in it, with a 5 speed, 4wd. It has a very small amount of rust on the rear fender, so I cut it out, while I did that I painted my front bumper since it was primer grey to begin with and bought a rear bumper for 40 bucks and painted it as well as the bottom 6 inches of the truck. I also put dual exhaust on her as well. This is where it got the name Bruiser, my mom said its black and blue like a bruise. ..

Here are some pics of what it looked like after the above mentioned, I also swapped the tail lights from my 89 onto it since I like the wrap around style for the reverse lights... I added the stainless steel bed caps as well. I put some back up lights in too while I did the rear bumper.

From then on building it went kind of slow since I had to start paying for college, but I found a cheap set of rims and painted them gloss black to go with the color scheme of the truck. Here is a pic right before doing the lift.

After that pic I installed a 4 inch BDS lift and redid the bushings on the front end. I installed a sliding rear window, and when I did the lift I sanded and painted all components Kandy cobalt blue from House of Kolor. I also put some Chassis saver on the frame to prevent rusting (only did the front so far).

Of course nothing goes as planned and the drivers side shock tower had a hole and crack in it so I replaced it. I installed add a leafs in back rather than blocks and put all new brake lines in just because lol. I installed the steering stabilizer and am just waiting on my rims to come in on back order with my 35's. (truck is dirty in pics) I also am in the process of replacing the headlights

Here is a pic of the bumper and turn signal light. On to the interior, I gutted the seats and the vinyl mat that was in there from factory. I bought some carpet from Summit and installed that, along with lumbar captain chairs from a 94 f-150 extended cab. I still have to paint the dash, change steering wheel ect. Future plans include a body lift, paint, new fuel tanks and pumps, and swap motor for a built 5.8l. Ill keep you guys updated, let me know what ya think!
