i've been having a big problem latly with pick up i have nnothing when i hit the pedal i have changed the plugs wires cap rowter i even cut off the from the cat back thinking it was bad but still nothing have got the pick up back anyone have any ideas?? i alos did the inline fuel filter

Sounds like you've made a good first pass at the problem. Have you pulled the codes out of the computer yet? What's the air filter look like? Automatic or manual transmission?

Also, could you be a little more specific about 'have nothing'? Does the motor stall, buck, snort, backfire, misfire, or is it just an underpowered feel -any chance of a slipping feel such as a tranny failure?

well i had a tranny problem before but its not that b/c its been running great but there is not slipping or any of that its just no acceoration and the codes were saying about the egr senor but u can pull that out and still run u know the only thing that happens is ur check engine light comes on

oo sorry and its automatic and yeah air filter is good

lolo and one more thing i also am running every rich like the gas aint burning all the way and i did a presure test and it came back good so im lost

Have you tryed fuel injector cleaner, or anykind of engine restorer? That should help.

If your EGR valve is open when it's not supposed to be (as in 'stuck'), that can cause problems.
