I an considering leveling my 95 2wd with f250 front coils. When I first got the truck I was only getting 12 mpg and now after a tune up and some cleaning I am up to 16.2. My? Is would leveling the front and putting on some 31's really affect my mpg's? Thanks for the help

the leveling kit not really. the 31s if your going from stock then you may lose 1 mpg to 2 depending how you drive and if u got alot of hills.

Wow that much? Yeah I do run stock size. May not be worth loosing that much just for a larger tire

I am getting about 16mpg with 31's. I dont know that it would make a huge difference swapping up to 31's. Would it depend on the gear ratio whether or not mpg would go down?

In some cases yes it will help mpg but most of the time it just restores lost power

My mpg now is just above 16 rear gear ratio is 3:55ls

atleast it seems like you keep your truck tuned up. i wouldn't stress about a 1-2 mpg drop, but thats me.

I try. I have had it for about a year now and it still had the original plugs and wires in it until I changed them. If I get the f250 coils would I just get ones for a 2wd? Any other recommenations on what else I would need? Also will be replacing shocks. Will I need 250 shocks? Thanks

there are only 2wd f250 coils, the 4wd f250s had leaf packs.

and you will need an alignment, thats about it.

the 844 is a standard coil spring, the 844s is a progressive rate. i would just get the cc844.
