Default F150 wont start!

I own a 1993 f150 with a straight six engine, I bought it in april of last year and it has been running good till this january. When after a cold spell i went to start it and it wouldn't start. I have replaced the ECM twice now and it works everytime i do that until we get another rain, and all of a sudden it wont start anymore. I have checked the coil, and all the cables to the distributor cap as well as to the ECM. I am stumped and so is everyone else that i ask. Why wont my truck start?

That straight 6 is an awesome work horse I believe. I still have my 93 F-250 just because it can sit for 2 years & when I need it I jump in it, start er up & go do what ever I need er to. But I do also keep my vehicals maintained just so I can be sure it will start when I need to.

There has to be something where wet weather affects the electrical.
You say after you get rain, it no longer will start, correct? If so does it start whe the weather warms & dries out? Or once you get cold & wet weather, it no longer will start until you replace the ECM?
As one above asked, is your Check Engine Light on?

Either way, if you have done nothing to change the integrity of your waire harness such as out 4 wheeling thru the woods, mudding, etc, I would do a bit more than look at the plug wires, ohm each one or if they are original, replace them.
Dist cap, if you do not know when last replaced, buy another one.
Plugs as well.
The same with your fuel filter & PCV.

You have to be certain if your problem is fuel or electrical and not just a coincedense with the weather.
A Vacuum / fuel pressure guage is so cheap & yet a valuable tool, (I believe you could also borrow one from Auto Zone), but just to humor yourself, get one & measure your fuel pressure. If good, then you can focus on electrical with certainty. (I hate assuming & buying parts not needed or time wasted on items not even the problem). So I always check both so I know time I spend will be worth it.

Repair is process of elimination unless you see or know something broke.

good luck & please do let us know how ya make out

my neighbor on his GMC (yea i know its not a ford but just listen) this past fall has a new cap, rotor, distributor on it ect. and then on rainy or colder days it would not start like you say. eventually he replaced all the above again and then guess what? it worked again. my guess would be something like that but withing a year that stuff should not go out so there may be something else on top of that that can be causing it.
