F body trucks are very frequent sights
I took another long drive up to the North Georgia mountains today. Beautiful day for a nice outing. I drove North on GA 400 and turned on US19/GA9 towards Dahlonega and then further on to Vogel State Park to enjoy the twisties with a side ride on GA180 to GA60. Man those are some curvy roads! Very nice though, very light traffic but I saw more F body trucks than any other single type or brand of vehicle. The countryside is just covered with them. Lots of them parked in farms and houses. Many of them had seen better days, but lots of them in pretty good shape However, there scariest one I saw was coming at me head on, half way in my lane in a narrow very twisty 2 lane road. Mountain on his side of the road, big precipice on my right side
Still, all is well that ends well. Great day of driving, taking pictures, swimming in the lake and enjoying a beautiful day
Here is a short video I took of the road with my iPhone.
Maybe this would work?

Nice video and you want curvy come to east tn and ride the dragon. On another note. I wonder if the other f body was video taping while driving too? May be why he was in your lane. Lol just poking at ya

Thanks for sharing your video, but you weren't in your F150 so boo! Lol.
Nice scenery, maybe I'll capture some Texas beauty this weekend while on the way to the countryside.

Hey, I know the Dragon pretty well. Actually these roads I was on are all on the way to the Dragon. That little video was on GA180, they call it "the little dragon" it's every bit as curvy and same terrain, but it's only about 6 miles long. On the plus side, the LEOs have not decided to come down on the drivers and bikers (although I suspect it will happen soon). Just come down to Andrews on US74, go past Murphy and take a left on US19. Go towards Blairsville and keep going. Turn right on GA180 just before the Vogel State Park on your right, You'll really enjoy the drive if you like curves.

I know, I was kicking myself the whole time thinking how much fun I was missing in those turns driving that plastic Chevrolet

LOL!! I resemble that remark ... No he did not have such a good excuse. I think he was just discovering how much understeer his 8th or 9th gen had (all I can say is that it was red, I was too busy trying not to soil my pants to pay any more attention)
