Default Exhaust advice

My 96 f 150 has the 302 in it and i'll be looking for an exhaust to put on it soon. I'm open to both custom ideas and whole kits. I'm looking for something that is in the range of moderately loud to loud and i want it to have that deep rumble to it. just wondering what systems or set ups you guys have and what they sound like. sound clips or videos would be more than appreciated. thanks

I'll be following this thread closely as i'm looking in to the same stuff.

I'm thinking headers with 2,5"-3" collectors and same size tubing for the rest of the exhaust. True dual exhaust.

But i'm cuirous; what to do with the sensor thingy thats currently attatched to the exhaust on a small tube that connects the two main pipes? If i go true dual that is.

I have the flowmaster super 44 muffler with the pipe coming out in front of the back tire, and it sounds pretty good, i would hallow out the cat tho. i will put up some sound clips this weekend.

Once the decision to be "Ecologically Irresponsible" has been made, why not just remove the Cat altogether?

I was also considering duals but have the same question about the sensors. Any one out there with true duals that knows a solution?

I would think it would depend on the original configuration. I know there is a way to mirror an o2 signal and eliminate one of a 2-02 sensor configuration.

to do it right you weld in a bung for the O2 sensor OR...buy collectors with them in it already which is what I do....for the EGR pipe...you weld in a bung for that too...
