I heard the longs really shine in the low end; Shorty's help more for high end.

Long tube fit just installed on my 90 5.0 4x4 5spd.
They will fit only issue is hammering the heat shield on firewall flat so the passenger header would go up enough to line the very back bolt hole up. I have hooker headers 6907-3hkr got a good deal since I work for them.
They do come back just past the original y pipe position so I'll have to rig an o2 extension pigtail for the h pipe when I run exhaust will upload pics when I get back to my truck.

That's great to hear! I've also heard of people shifting the engine a little to the drivers side to make room for the headers.

Had no issues with room getting it in but I came up from bottom and my truck is lifted may have something to with it.

Hooker headers but the way I put it in I sorta slid it in around the starter, if that makes any sense.
I put on part number 6907-3hkr if you want to look at them
