Default Been a while since I posted... Some updates( 56K beware)

Been a while since I have posted on here,, have been coming on and reading though.. Been busy building mustang and didnt have time to mess with truck. But since rear main seal started leaking pretty bad, Ive started back on truck projects some.

Since I lasted posted, I have added dual exhaust, Lightning front spoiler/fog lights, the center console/seat, blacked out chrome on body moulding, and misc maintence items. When I did the spoiler/fog light install, I wired it useing a factory lighting fog light switch also. had a built 351, but ended up selling/trading it for a 347 and cash for a must project I had going on at the time. But am currently lookign for 351 to swap into truck. Have a set of ceramic FMS headers still, and a set of GT40 Aluminum heads, crane Gold 1.6 roller rocker for either the 351, or 347 build.. Kinda want 351, but if I cant find one will just put a 347 in it.. Anyway here are some pics of what little upgrades I have done since posting,,,,

Lightning front spoiler/ for light assembly.. wired them so I can run with parks ligts..

Dual Exhaust....

Center console install....

Factory fof light swtich installed..

Misc pics w/blacked out body moulding.....

I've been looking for the fog light switch from a Lightning and can't find them ANYWHERE! Where'd you get yours? I guess I'll have to hit up some boneyards....

Nice truck!!! I see you have the Lightning cluster too, did you find a Lightning at the junkyard or something? I'm glad you put up the interior pics because I have the same seats and I was thinking about getting an Eddie Bauer parts truck for the interior so I wasn't sure about how they would look together, it's not bad.

I bought a lightning couple years back that was VERY abused!!! Body was in rough shape, and was missing the front spoiler, p-side door would open, tailgate bent,, etc.. . Person I bought it form was using at his work truck doing landscaping and taking it woods. I bought it as a parts truck, and swapped everything over on to my truck. I have complete lightning suspension, gauge cluster, and rims. Also had the 351, but traded it for a 347 plus cash for a mustang project I was building. Wish I kept it now, but at time was going to let my son have truck, but he wanted a car, so bought him a 88-tbird sport. But am lookign for another 351, or might just buy 347 kit, and put an explorer intake on it. Still have the throttle cable from the Lightning so I can run a mustang type intake, backwards like the lightning...

Here is a picture of just after I bought truck and swapped the stock chrome steel rime for newer style f-150 rims... Only thing I had then was electric fan conversion, tinted the windows and added 2" lowering shackles to level truck out..
