Default part number 93 f150 temp sending unit 5.0

I need to get a new sending unit for my 93 f150 5.0L

The guage is not functioning and thought i would change that our first.

Heater works fine so i assume the Tstat is working fine and not stuck open.

Gauge just stays on Cold and never moves much .

Yes the single wire one works the gauge. You can ground the wire out going to the old one to see if the gauge pegs out that will tell you the if sender is bad if it dosen't move the gauge/wiring is bad.
