Can you be more specific of what you tie it to, and about the lever, do they tie together, what does the lever look like. I think I know but I want to be sure.

This is an old thread. Tell us what your problem is and also the year and model of your truck?

I have removed my emergency brakes from my f250 but now need to zip tie whatever makes the light and beeping noise stay off. Can someone tell me what that it in the back underneath. They did it for me before and I can't remember what it was. My friend drove my truck and pushed in the brake, instead of putting it in gear and broke the zip tie. I want to just re do it myself.

As long as your parking brake pedal is all the way up the light should stay off. Unless you're talking about a somewhat flat lever under the truck about where the cab and box meet. If you tie this back it may help keep the parking brake pedal up.

before what they tied was back towards the wheels and where the emergency brake line is hanging loose from the tires.

Fixing them right would be a pretty good idea.

I agree. It's called an EMERGENCY brake for a reason.
