You're point goes to my question; what sensor reads low hydraulic pressure in the system? Part number? Where is the transducer physically located?

There is a low fluid level warning inside of the master cylinder, if there is an air bubble a float will trip and will disable the ABS and turn on the light as well as the brake light.

What your looking for is called the Pressure Differential Valve its located on the driver side in the frame about two feet below your master cylinder you can find it by following the two lines down to the frame cant miss it its a 6 in by 3 in block with two brake lines going in and four coming out. theres a procedure to reset your valve to the center position but this is usally done when you have had a major malfunction like a broken off brake line and dumped most of the master cylinder.

Also theres a low fluid level sensor that is right under the reservoir on the master cylinder you can spot this by the two wires coming out the right side.

My electrical diagram shows that if the Differential valve trips it can shut off the ABS module, maybe thats why both your lights are on?

There is no such valve you describe on his truck. The ABS module is in that location, it only has two lines to it and it also has a sensor on it.

That's what he's talking about, but he's not very familiar with our trucks apparently.
